Makers House - Tapas Bar Bistro - Cocktail Bar

Located on St Benedict's Street, we are looking for a dedicated Assistant Restaurant/Bar Manager who loves working in hospitality and can help lead the front of house team and develop the business, taking it to the next level of service and sales.

The ground floor offers a relaxed continental feel serving extensive tapas and bistro mains throughout the day along with classic premium cocktails and a healthy wine list. While upstairs Hawthorn Bar serves bespoke experimental cocktails at the weekend and is available for private hire throughout the week.

Your role is to help manage the day to day running of the business and being the face of the front of house team. You will need to have an eye for detail, a desire for great customer service, a creative mind and experience managing and training a team. Our tapas menu is popular and cooked to order while equally important are our cocktails, so you will need experience with both working in restaurants and bars.

You will need to be familiar with Health & Safety policies and procedures and having kitchen experience would also be useful.

Makers House is open Monday - Saturday and Hawthorn Cocktail Bar on the first floor is open Friday and Saturday evenings. You will be expected to work 6 shifts per week.

Overall you will be the link between the customer, the staff and the business. The owners are fully involved with the business and now looking to elevate the business with the opening for lunch Thursday - Saturday.
