Bar Staff – Job Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, serving guests in a fast-paced and friendly setting. The ideal candidate will have a confident, approachable manner, strong organisational skills, and a genuine passion for great service.
A minimum of 1 year bar experience is required, ideally in a similar hospitality or restaurant environment

Key Duties

  • Serve drinks efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar
  • Make a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, to a consistent standard
  • Take orders accurately and process payments via cash or card using the POS system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
  • Restock supplies and ensure all bar equipment is clean and functioning correctly
  • Monitor guest behaviour to ensure safety and adherence to licensing laws
  • Assist with table service, clearing, and general support during busy periods
  • Provide friendly recommendations and promote special offers or upcoming events

Experience & Skills

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year bar experience
  • Confident in making a variety of drinks, including basic cocktails

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic maths ability for accurate cash handling
  • Ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
  • Reliable, well-organised, and able to work well within a team
