Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards. The successful applicant will be passionate about hospitality and dedicated to ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including special promotions or new products.
  • Handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Follow responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and adhering to licensing laws.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality, particularly as a bartender or in food service roles.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
  • Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Effective time management to handle multiple orders during busy periods efficiently.
