Full job description

The Coppid Beech Hotel is looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to join our team.

With multiple bars, live music, a nightclub and busy events, no two shifts are quite the same. You'll support the Management Team in keeping our bar operations running smoothly while leading the team and making sure our guests receive great service.

You'll be joining us at an exciting time as our multi-million-pound refurbishment continues across the hotel.

What you'll be doing...

  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of all our bar outlets
  • Leading by example and delivering excellent customer service
  • Supervising, training and developing bar team members
  • Supporting private functions, events and entertainment nights
  • Assisting with stock control and ordering
  • Ensuring licensing, health & safety and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly

What we're looking for...

  • Previous supervisory experience in a busy bar or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt to both quieter weekdays and busy weekends
  • A positive, hands-on approach and the confidence to lead a team
  • Personal Licence is desirable
