Bar Back - Newport

Pay: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of £1.53 holiday pay)

About the role

We’re looking for energetic and reliable Bar Backs to support busy bar teams in Newport and keep service running smoothly.

In this role, you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure the team has everything they need for fast, efficient service. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that’s perfect for someone who thrives in lively hospitality environments.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Restocking drinks, garnishes, and glassware throughout service.
  • Keeping the bar area clean, organised, and well-presented.
  • Collecting and washing used glasses and bar equipment.
  • Assisting with preparation and setup before shifts.
  • Receive and help check bar stock, ensuring items are correctly stored and rotated.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a bar environment.
  • Must be 18 or over, with the right to work in the UK.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
