Full job description

Job Summary

Join our café team as a barista and help create a welcoming experience for every customer. You’ll prepare drinks and food, serve customers and keep the café running smoothly during busy periods.

Duties

  • Prepare coffee, other drinks and simple food orders to the café’s standards.
  • Serve customers, take orders and handle payments accurately.
  • Keep counters, equipment and dining areas clean, following food safety practices.
  • Support food preparation and restock supplies as needed.
  • Your impact: Friendly, accurate service and carefully prepared orders help customers enjoy a pleasant visit and keep the team’s service flowing.

Qualifications

  • A helpful, approachable manner and clear communication skills.
  • Good basic maths for taking payments and checking orders.
  • Strong time management and the ability to stay organised when busy.
  • Food safety knowledge is useful; willingness to follow safe handling procedures is essential.
  • Previous barista or serving experience is welcome, but not essential.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
