Full job description

Job Summary:

Our barista is leaving for the summer, and we are looking for a new staff to join a dedicated team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, such as speciality coffee and tea, to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating high-quality drinks in a fast-paced environment. Must have coffee making experience using an espresso machine, knowledge of latte art and the likes of it.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, and tea
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and work area
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Work in cooperation with the kitchen staff, follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using EPOS system.
- Upsell products and promote special items to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
