Job Summary

We are looking for a Coffee House Manager. This is a full time role will involve overseeing the smooth running of daily operations, managing customer service, coordinating staff, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking manager who has a wealth of experience in hospitality and has strong barista skills and knowledge. It is a very hands on position and must be willing to work key days, weekends and be present on the floor during peak hours. If you're organised, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to have you as part of our team!

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.
  • Assist in training new team members on service protocols and food safety practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest experience.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area.
  • Implement health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance and staff productivity.
  • Overseeing the baking team and working closely with our head baker
  • Keen interest in up and coming trends within the food and drink industry

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management.
  • Experience in hospitality, particularly within restaurant or coffee shop settings.
  • Knowledge of food production processes, including food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise efficiently.
  • A keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of service and presentation.
