Overview
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they walk in.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Assist in food preparation and presentation, including pastries and light snacks.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the health and well-being of customers.
  • Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change accurately.
  • A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
