Overview

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced and knowledgeable cocktail bartender to join our independent cocktail bars in the heart of Peckham.

At Zapoi and Xoto, we take pride in the art of cocktail making, quality ingredients, creative presentation and genuine hospitality.

We are seeking a professional who understands that being an excellent bartender goes far beyond mixing drinks. It requires extensive product knowledge, technical precision, efficiency, attention to detail and the ability to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Has substantial professional experience working in quality cocktail bars.
  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, liqueurs, ingredients and mixing techniques.
  • Is confident preparing cocktails from memory, with consistency, precision and speed.
  • Understands flavour profiles, balance, presentation and the importance of quality ingredients.
  • Maintains exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and bar preparation.
  • Can work efficiently and calmly under pressure during busy services.
  • Is reliable, punctual, responsible and takes genuine pride in their profession.
  • Has excellent communication skills, a welcoming personality and a natural passion for hospitality.
  • Can work independently while contributing positively to a small, dedicated team.

Skills

  • Proven experience in bartending within a busy hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of Classic cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and food safety standards
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently under pressure
  • Effective time management to ensure prompt service during peak hours
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting whilst maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £16.00-£18.56 per hour
