Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a lively environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, working in a fast-paced setting that values teamwork, efficiency, and a friendly attitude. Duties

  • Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
  • Take orders accurately and process payments efficiently using the till system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operation
  • Engage with customers to enhance their experience and promote special offers or events
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including responsible alcohol service
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during shifts

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
  • A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn new skills
