Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred. The successful applicant will be organised, able to manage multiple tasks effectively, and possess excellent time management skills.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
  • Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions responsibly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adherence to licensing laws
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless service experience
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of each shift

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service roles is highly desirable, particularly within a bar setting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to the hospitality industry
  • Strong serving skills with an emphasis on attentiveness and guest satisfaction
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining professionalism under pressure
