Prep School - Sports Coach Vacancy
(Flexible work - up to 20 hours per week)

We are searching for enthusiastic and motivated sports coaches to join the team for casual work between the hours of 1.00 to 6.00pm at leading Independent Schools in the Westminster, Kensington, Battersea, Clapham and Croydon areas. Working with children aged between 7 and 16, these positions would suit someone either London based or willing to travel. We are looking for candidates with experience of delivering either football, netball, hockey, gymnastics, cricket or rugby coaching. This is an opportunity for an ambitious coach to work at high-quality facilities and gain experience working in the Independent School Sport Sector.

The post holders will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of training and fixtures across sites in the Central and West London areas. The successful candidates will ideally possess a minimum Level 1 coaching qualification and hold at least 2 years’ experience of working in a school or sport setting along with knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety. Candidates with Level 2 or 3 and/or a teaching qualification is desirable.

Sport Society pay scale below:

Unqualified support coach £15 per hour
Level 1 Coach £20 per hour
Level 2 Coach £26 per hour
Level 3 Coach/
Qualified PE Teacher up to £35 per hour

Applicants must be willing to undergo several safeguarding checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, reference checks with previous employers, and, where applicable, Barred List and Prohibition checks.
