Guardtech are a rapidly growing, thoughtfully evolving design & build company that produce high-quality, tightly controlled manufacturing facilities (cleanrooms) across the country for the Life Science sector for industries such as Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Automotive & Medical Device.

Our Service Teams plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our ventures by executing efficient and effective cleanroom servicing and maintenance programmes for our ever increasing client base.

Key Responsibilities & Capabilities

1. Commissioning & Testing

Proficient in conducting full commissioning and validation activities, including Filter Integrity Testing, Pressure Balancing, and performance testing of separative devices such as Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs) and Laminar Airflow (LAF) units.

2. System Upgrades

Experienced in upgrading HVAC systems and associated cleanroom infrastructure, including filter replacements, environmental monitoring systems (EMS), door systems, and cleanroom modifications.

3. Service & Maintenance

Conducts planned and reactive maintenance on critical systems including HVAC units, air

compressors, generators, UPS systems, and separative devices (BSCs, LAFs), ensuring minimal downtime and regulatory compliance.

4. Client Sign-Off Procedures

Ensures completion of a detailed sign-off sheet at the conclusion of each job, securing approval and signature from the client before leaving site to confirm satisfaction and scope closure.

5. Reporting & Handover

Liaises directly with the Service Manager post-visit to provide a comprehensive, clear, and specific breakdown of works undertaken and any recommended follow-up actions, aiding in the preparation of detailed service reports.

6. Support to Business Development

Assists the Business Development Manager (BDM) by contributing to the preparation of detailed, itemised quotations for clients, including the internal development of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure accurate cost and scope alignment.

7. IQ/OQ Documentation

Executes Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) protocols in line with GMP and client standards, including full documentation and traceability.

8. Commissioning Management

Manages, witnesses, and records all stages of the commissioning process for new installations, ensuring thorough validation and compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

9. Cleanroom Panel Installation

Experienced in the installation of modular cleanroom wall panels across various systems such as Kingspan Precision and Versatile, maintaining strict tolerances and cleanroom integrity.

10. Suspended Ceiling Systems

Installs cleanroom-grade suspended ceilings, including grid systems like T50 and T24, ensuring compatibility with HVAC systems and lighting units.

11. Door System Installation

Installs various cleanroom door systems (manual, automated, or airlock-integrated), including systems from Kingspan Precision and Versatile.

12. Fan Filter Unit (FFU) Installation

Experienced in the installation and commissioning of Fan Filter Units (FFUs) from multiple

manufacturers including Astra and TripleAir, ensuring correct airflow performance and

integration with cleanroom systems.

13. Cleanroom Equipment Fit-Out

Responsible for the precise installation of cleanroom equipment, furniture, and fittings, ensuring alignment with layout plans, operational workflows, and cleanliness standards.

14. Vehicle Maintenance

Maintains company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and mechanical upkeep, ensuring safety, reliability, and brand representation.

15. Tool Management & Security

Accountable for the maintenance, calibration, and secure storage of all tools and equipment used on-site to ensure operational readiness and prevent loss or misuse.
