MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Special Bar Service (sbs) Pershore, Worcestershire

Full-time, on-site £35,000–£42,000 + performance bonus + benefits

For nearly 20 years, sbs has delivered thousands of brand activation events for our customers who are world-class drinks and FMCG brands.

We are pretty unique in our industry as we operate an end to end operation, taking ownership of every stage of brand activation from concept, design, build, logistics, storage and live activation of the event.

Everything we do runs on sBOS, our proprietary digital business operating system.

Now we're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Leadership Team who'll own our finance and help us see exactly what every order and every customer makes.

THE ROLE

This is the complete, end to end Finance job, from bookkeeping to the board-ready monthly management accounts. You'll run it, own it and, like everyone else in sbs, continuously improve it.

You'll also help build something most finance people never get to: profit and loss for every order and every customer, connected directly to sBOS.

You'll be the person who shows us where we make money, where we don't, and what to do about it.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Accurate monthly management accounts: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and commentary.

Day-to-day Xero bookkeeping and reconciliations as well as sales and purchase ledger, invoicing, accrued revenue, PO matching, credit control, payroll, pensions and VAT returns. You'll also put together year-end with our external accountants.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

AAT Level 3 or 4, or equivalent experience. You've produced month-end accounts yourself in a commercial business. Strong in Xero and Excel and used to working with ustomer systems like Coupa.

You don't accept a number until you understand it because you're naturally curious about how the business works, not just what it spent, excited by systems, data and automation.

You'll get close to the operation, ask good questions, challenge our management team and care about the result.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

£35,000 - £42,000 plus a performance - related bonus, up to 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Training Tuesdays: 90 minutes per week, equivalent to 10 days per year protected development time.
