Waxing Training Expert / Brand Ambassador

Permanent, part-time position – three days per week
Potential to increase to full-time depending on experience and the requirements of the business

Overview

Are you a qualified Beauty Therapist with an NVQ, CIBTAC or CIDESCO qualification? Do you have strong practical waxing experience, including hot and intimate waxing, and feel ready to take the next step in your beauty career?

Beauty Triangle International is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced beauty professional to join our Training and Education team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about educating others, sharing their expertise and representing leading professional beauty brands, including LYCON Wax and Supercilium.

The role

As our Waxing Training Expert and Brand Ambassador, you will deliver engaging, high-quality training to beauty professionals, helping them develop their confidence, practical skills and product knowledge.

Your working time will be divided between our Haddenham office, our flagship academy in Imperial Wharf and key customer locations when required. The amount of time spent at each location will vary according to the training schedule and the needs of the business.

At our London academy, you will deliver practical courses, product demonstrations and educational sessions. At our Haddenham office, you will coordinate training activities, manage the associated administration and support the wider sales and training teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering practical LYCON waxing courses at our London academy and other locations when required
• Providing engaging product demonstrations and expert-led advice
• Supporting students and customers before, during and after their training
• Ensuring that all training is delivered consistently and in accordance with brand standards
• Coordinating training schedules, bookings and communications
• Ensuring trainers and students have the products, materials and information required for each course
• Maintaining accurate student records, attendance information, certificates and training documentation
• Creating educational videos, demonstrations and social media content
• Confidently appearing on camera and representing our brands across digital platforms
• Representing LYCON and Supercilium at events, exhibitions and industry shows when required
• Supporting the sales team while working in the office
• Identifying new training and sales opportunities
• Upselling and cross-selling relevant products, services and courses
• Processing customer orders and providing professional product advice
• Visiting and supporting key customer accounts when required

About you

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Are a qualified Beauty Therapist with a recognised NVQ, CIBTAC or CIDESCO qualification
• Have strong practical waxing experience, including confidently performing hot wax and intimate waxing treatments
• Have practical experience in brow and lash treatments
• Have experience using LYCON and Supercilium products, although this is advantageous rather than essential
• Are confident presenting, demonstrating and speaking in front of groups
• Enjoy supporting others and can explain techniques clearly and patiently
• Are highly organised and have excellent attention to detail
• Are confident managing schedules, records, certificates and training paperwork
• Have a warm, professional and engaging personality
• Are proactive and comfortable managing your own workload
• Are confident creating educational content and appearing on camera
• Have strong commercial awareness and a natural aptitude for sales
• Are comfortable identifying opportunities, building customer relationships and recommending appropriate products or training
• Ideally hold an AET Level 3 Award in Education and Training or another recognised teaching qualification; however, this is desirable rather than essential, and support may be provided to work towards the qualification
• Are looking for the next step in your career and would welcome the opportunity to move into a professional training and brand ambassador role

Locations and working pattern

This is a permanent position working three days per week, with the potential to increase to a full-time position depending on the successful applicant’s experience and the requirements of the business.

Your working time will be divided between:

• Our flagship academy in Imperial Wharf, London, where practical training and product demonstrations are delivered
• Our Haddenham office, where courses are coordinated and training administration is managed
• Key customer accounts and other training or event locations when required

Your working location will be determined by the training schedule and the requirements of the business. Applicants must therefore be able and willing to travel comfortably to both Imperial Wharf and Haddenham, as well as to other locations when reasonably required.

Our Haddenham office is within walking distance of Haddenham & Thame Parkway railway station, which offers direct rail links to London Marylebone.

Due to the travel required, this position may be particularly well suited to someone based in West London, South Buckinghamshire or South Oxfordshire.
