Head Therapist – Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and professional Head Therapist to join our leisure and spa team at Waterton Park Hotel.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional treatments and outstanding guest experiences, while also supporting the day-to-day running and development of our treatment operation.

About the role

As Head Therapist, you will lead by example, delivering a high standard of treatments while helping to maintain excellent standards across the spa and treatment areas.

You will play a key role in ensuring guests receive a warm, professional and memorable experience from the moment they arrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a range of high-quality spa and beauty treatments
• Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming experience for every guest
• Leading, supporting and motivating the therapy team
• Maintaining consistently high treatment and service standards
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the treatment rooms
• Managing treatment bookings and helping to maximise therapist and treatment room availability
• Ensuring treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organised and maintained to a high standard
• Monitoring stock levels and supporting stock ordering
• Supporting the training, development and induction of therapists
• Ensuring all health, safety, hygiene and treatment procedures are followed
• Dealing confidently and professionally with guest queries and feedback
• Supporting the management team with the development of treatments, packages and promotions
• Helping to achieve departmental targets and commercial objectives

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced therapist who is:

• Qualified to an appropriate industry standard in relevant beauty and spa treatments
• Experienced in delivering a range of treatments to a consistently high standard
• Passionate about wellness, beauty and exceptional guest service
• Confident leading and supporting a team
• Professional, friendly and approachable
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Confident communicating with both guests and colleagues
• Commercially aware and committed to achieving departmental goals
• Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required

Previous experience in a senior therapist, team leader or supervisory role would be highly desirable.
