We are looking for a reliable and professional Night Porter to help ensure our guests receive a warm, safe, and welcoming experience throughout the night. This is an important role within the hotel, combining guest service, security, cleaning, and preparation for the following day's operation.

What you will be doing:

You will support the hotel overnight, ensuring guests receive friendly, professional, and efficient service at all times. You will welcome guests on arrival, assist with luggage and belongings, provide information about the hotel and local area, and help with directions and transportation arrangements when required.

You will run the Night Audit, provide bar service when required, handle guest enquiries and telephone calls professionally, and work closely with other departments to ensure guest requests are dealt with promptly. You will also help maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of public areas, including entrances, hallways, and lobbies.

As part of the role, you will provide operational support with function and event room set-ups, ensuring spaces are cleared, prepared and presented to the required standard. During night shifts, you will be responsible for carrying out regular walk-rounds of the hotel, helping to maintain the safety, security, and presentation of the property throughout the night.

You will play an important role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel and supporting the wider team to ensure our guests have an enjoyable and memorable stay.

What you will bring to the team:

You will ideally have previous experience working in a hotel, hospitality, security, or customer-facing environment, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.

You will be dependable, confident working independently during night hours, and comfortable taking responsibility when required. Strong communication skills, good attention to detail, and a calm approach to problem-solving are essential.

Most importantly, you will take pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment and delivering excellent hospitality to our guests, whatever the time of day.
