Maths teacher or Maths Subject Lead

Two roles, one application - tell us which path is right for you.

Location: East (E1) London

Salary: £30,900 FTE per annum

Working Pattern:

Maths Teacher: Full-time

  • Monday – Wednesday: 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
  • Friday: 8.30am – 4.00pm

Maths Subject Coordinator: As above, but with 2 days non teaching days per week.

Teaching and leadership

Combine up to 3 days of classroom teaching with subject leadership across both our onsite and offsite provision. You'll shape curriculum, lead quality assurance, support staff development and drive outcomes in maths across the organisation.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll need:

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience teaching Maths (ideally KS3–KS4)
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum, SEN, and alternative approaches
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence working independently and in a team
  • A creative, flexible, can-do mindset

Desirable:

  • QTS
  • Maths qualification (degree or A-level)
  • Experience with SEN or behavioural needs
  • Background in alternative or therapeutic education
  • Ability to teach English/Science to foundation GCSE
