Full job description

Hive Healthcare are currently recruiting Care Assistants in the Belfast area to join our friendly and busy team.

Due to the nature of our roles, all candidates must be UK Resident with unrestricted working rights. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for any overseas candidates.

All Care Assistants are required to be registered with The Northern Ireland Social Care Council.

Your responsibilities will include –

  • · Personal care which may include washing, showering, toileting
  • · Supporting daily routines and activities
  • · Safe moving and handling, using specific equipment
  • · Shopping and carrying out specific tasks
  • · Maintaining records of daily notes, charts etc
  • · Support of social activities

You will need –

  • · Compassion and empathy within social care
  • · A minimum of 6 months paid experience within a care home setting within the last 3 years
  • · Dedication to deliver person-centred care and support of the highest standard
  • · Reliable, dependable and good timekeeper
  • · A team player, who can adapt easily to the requests of care home management
