Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 8:30am
• Friday: 6:00am – 8:00am

Please note that this role will be due to start in September. Interviews will be carried out mid August.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Morning Cleaner to join our team at a primary school in the Rogerstone area of Newport. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying bins and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate is essential
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
