Why Join Bell?

About the Role

As a Contracts Supervisor, you’ll be the on-the-ground leader ensuring our cleaning, preparation, and painting works across the Maritime and Industrial sectors are delivered to the highest standards. You’ll lead by example, actively working alongside operatives, supervising teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with rigorous safety and quality standards.

In a fast-paced and reactive environment, adaptability and strong communication skills are essential. You’ll be working closely with QA Inspectors, clients, and operatives—providing support, guidance, and making sure every job is completed with pride and precision.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervising contract works and overseeing on-site labour
  • Assisting with quality assurance and safety documentation (risk assessments, permits, TBTs)
  • Reporting on progress and compliance via laptop – strong IT literacy is a must
  • Liaising with stakeholders, ensuring top-tier service delivery
  • Travelling to job sites across the UK, with occasional weekend and away working

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in marine or industrial cleaning, preparation & painting
  • Previous supervisory experience (certification desirable)
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures and quality systems
  • Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Comfortable with confined space and working at height (training can be provided)

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive pay + opportunity for bonuses
  • 29 holidays (including public holidays)
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • PPE provided
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave
  • Access to cancer care support
  • Flu jab allowance
  • “Refer a Friend” Bonus Scheme
  • Long Service Awards
  • Genuine opportunities for training, promotion, and professional development
