The Role
We are supporting a well-established global real estate investment manager in the hire of a Senior Associate to join its London-based Private Equity team.
This is a key role within a high-performing investment team managing a diverse, pan-European portfolio across multiple asset classes and strategies. The position offers a strong blend of asset management, investment execution and fund-level exposure, with regular interaction with senior internal stakeholders and external capital partners.
The successful candidate will contribute to driving performance across a broad range of investments, while supporting portfolio strategy and decision-making across the UK and European markets.

Candidate Profile

The position offers a strong blend of asset management, investment execution and fund-level exposure, with regular interaction with senior internal stakeholders and external capital partners.
The successful candidate will contribute to driving performance across a broad range of investments, while supporting portfolio strategy and decision-making across the UK and European markets.
Key Responsibilities
Transactions & Investments
- Assess new investment opportunities across European markets and multiple sectors
- Support underwriting, due diligence and execution of acquisitions
- Coordinate transaction processes with internal teams and external advisors
- Assist with financing activities and related structuring work
- Contribute to investment sourcing and pipeline development
Asset Management
- Manage assets throughout their lifecycle, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support ongoing asset management and investment decisions
- Implement value enhancement initiatives, including leasing strategies, capex programmes and operational improvements
- Monitor external property managers and joint venture partners
- Support valuation processes and review third-party appraisals
- Identify key risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support and execute disposal processes where appropriate
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare materials for investment committees, senior management and investors
- Deliver analysis on portfolio performance and investment strategy
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Team Contribution
- Support the development of junior team members where required
- Work collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary, international environment
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years’ experience in real estate private equity, investment banking or a related field
- Strong experience across both asset management and transaction execution
- Advanced Excel modelling and strong analytical capability
- Commercially minded with the ability to interpret and challenge financial data
- Strong communication skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to operational real estate sectors is beneficial but not essential
- Additional European language skills would be an advantage
