About Berlitz Manchester:
Berlitz Manchester, a renowned language school established in 1878, is seeking a dedicated and experienced ESL teacher to join our team. If you are a passionate ESL teacher seeking a rewarding position where you can make a real difference, we would love to hear from you. Join Berlitz Manchester and help shape the language skills of students.
This is a temporary summer role starting in July, initially for 6 weeks, with the possibility of extension up to 8 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching English lessons to students of all ages and abilities, including beginner-level adult learners, young learners, and children.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to ensure effective and targeted language learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Create a supportive and motivating learning environment that encourages the student's active participation.
- Teach classes during weekdays between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification, such as CELTA, TESOL, DipTESOL or DELTA
- Proven experience teaching English as a second language to adult learners
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and create a comfortable learning environment
