Experienced Cabinet Maker / Bespoke Joinery Specialist

Location: Enfield, London

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Us

Woodcraft Joinery London is a leading bespoke joinery manufacturer specialising in high-quality staircases, kitchens, fitted wardrobes, windows, doors, and custom-made furniture. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bespoke Joinery Specialist to join our workshop team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling a wide range of bespoke joinery products to the highest standards. You will work from technical drawings and specifications to produce custom-made items for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble bespoke kitchens, fitted wardrobes, staircases, windows, doors, and custom furniture.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and workshop production drawings.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out bench joinery and cabinet-making work to a high standard.
  • Prepare components for assembly and installation.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and workshop staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Assist with problem-solving and continuous improvement within the workshop.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cabinet making, bench joinery, or bespoke furniture manufacturing.
  • Strong experience producing bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, staircases, windows, and doors.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
  • Excellent woodworking and joinery skills.
  • Experience using workshop machinery including spindle moulders, panel saws, planers, thicknessers, and sanding equipment.
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with veneered panels and hardwood joinery.
  • Experience manufacturing traditional timber windows and doors.
  • Staircase manufacturing experience.
  • CNC machine experience would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
