Job title: Senior Commercial Kitchen & Hospitality Designer

Location: Hybrid role with 2 days every 2 weeks in our head office in Preston

Salary: £35,000–£50,000 DOE + 15% of annual salary bonus scheme

Type: Full-time, permanent

Who we are - We are a national hospitality supplier delivering everything from one-off equipment to full turnkey front-of-house and back-of-house design and build projects. We work with national chains and blue-chip clients, growing by referral and we pride ourselves on outstanding client service, technical rigour and a passionate team culture.

About the role - We’re seeking an experienced designer to lead the design of commercial kitchens and front-of-house hospitality environments. You’ll produce detailed designs, some coordination with clients but mainly with our sales consultants.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce detailed CAD (AutoCAD) 2D drawings, 3D Design using Sketchup or equivalent software.
  • Generate visuals and renderings (3D modelling/visualisation) for client presentations. BIM skills would be a advantage but training will be given to the right candidate.
  • Occasional site visits to assist the sales team with large project briefs and pitches when required.
  • Liaise with sales, project managers, architects & suppliers.
  • Produce kitchen designs, front of house interior design and service drawings when orders are received.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our design department and drawings.
  • This role is ideal for a candidate who wants to make the design department there own, we love suggestions and change which improve the offer to our clients.

Required skills & experience

  • Proven experience designing commercial kitchens, hospitality interiors or light commercial/shopfitting projects.
  • Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD essential); Sketchup or equivalent, Revit and BIM modelling a advantage but training will be given.
  • Good understanding of architectural/construction drawings and MEP coordination.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing and cross-team collaboration.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to UK sites as required.
