Multi Drop Van Driver – NO AGENCIES please.

What will I be doing?

Our drivers are responsible for moving freight in a safe and professional manner from our depot to our customers, you’ll be:

• Ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safely secured and in-line with road and transport legislation.
• Delivering Kerb-side pallet goods coming in all shapes and sizes in the local area with an electric pallet truck and tail-lift where no forklift is available.
• Collecting hub collection pallets to bring back to the depot for trunking.
• Professionally interacting with customers with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Completing daily maintenance checks on your vehicle and reporting any issues via our app.
• Driving in inclement weather, such as light snow, heavy rain etc.
• Managing and maintaining delivery and collection paperwork.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

What we are looking for?

• Applicants will have the appropriate driving qualification.
• Ideally, at least one 1-year multi drop experience however we can offer enhanced training to the right candidate.
• Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience.
• Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures.
• Work well independently using initiative and common sense.
• Open and transparent communication both verbal and written.
• You’ll be confident in dealing with our customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones.
• The successful candidate will be safety focused, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner.
• Our drivers are passionate about what we do and delivering for our customers, we want likeminded drivers to join our team with the same mind set and ambition.
• No previous disqualifications IN, DD, DR or MR.
