Motorcycle Technician

Join the team at Choice Motorcycles

Choice Motorcycles is an established and expanding independent motorcycle dealership based in Coventry. We're looking for an experienced Motorcycle Technician to strengthen our workshop team.

This is a permanent, full-time position working on a wide variety of motorcycles, from modern sports bikes and commuters to classic machines. If you're an experienced technician who enjoys working in a busy, well-equipped workshop, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing motorcycles to a high standard.
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on retail motorcycles.
  • Road testing motorcycles where required.
  • Preparing bikes for MOT and arranging MOT appointments.
  • Working closely with the workshop team to keep jobs progressing efficiently.
  • Ordering or identifying parts when required.
  • Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
  • Completing workshop paperwork and job records accurately.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a motorcycle technician or mechanic.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
  • Good all-round mechanical knowledge across a range of motorcycle makes and models.
  • A high standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload.
  • A full motorcycle licence, as road testing forms part of the role.

Why join us?

  • Work on an interesting mix of motorcycles rather than the same models every day.
  • Be part of a friendly, growing independent dealership where your work is genuinely valued.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern – enjoy your weekends free.
  • Stable, long-term employment with opportunities to develop your skills as the business continues to grow.

Who this role would suit

This position would be ideal for an experienced motorcycle technician who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing quality work, and wants to join a growing dealership where they can make a real difference.
