Turn your scientific knowledge into a rewarding commercial career.

As the business continues to expand internationally, they're looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join their collaborative commercial team in Oxford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to launch or develop your career in scientific sales with full product and commercial training, genuine progression opportunities and exposure to customers and distributors across the globe.

The Opportunity

This is a newly created position designed to improve customer experience and support international sales growth.

Rather than spending your day cold calling, you'll work with inbound customer enquiries, quotations and sample requests, ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience while supporting distributors across international markets.

You'll work alongside Product Management, Marketing and the wider Commercial Team, gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business and developing the skills needed for a successful commercial career.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Qualifying inbound customer enquiries from international markets
  • Managing sample requests and quotation enquiries
  • Working closely with distributors to ensure customer opportunities are followed up
  • Supporting international lead generation campaigns
  • Building strong relationships with customers and distribution partners
  • Maintaining opportunities and customer records within the CRM system
  • Working closely with Marketing and Product Management on commercial initiatives
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Developing a strong understanding of PCR Biosystems' products and applications

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, communication and relationship building.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with ambitious people who are looking to build a long-term career in commercial life sciences.

You'll ideally have:

✔ Laboratory experience or knowledge of PCR and molecular biology

✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

✔ A proactive and positive attitude

✔ Strong organisation and time management skills

✔ A genuine interest in scientific sales and customer engagement

It Would Be Great If You Also Have...

  • Customer-facing experience (retail, hospitality, technical support, laboratory support or customer service)
  • Scientific sales or inside sales experience
  • Experience working with distributors or commercial customers
  • CRM experience
  • Additional language skills
  • Experience working within biotechnology or diagnostics

Why Join?

This is more than just an Inside Sales role.

It's an opportunity to become part of a growing international biotechnology company where you'll receive full training, work alongside experienced commercial professionals and develop the skills needed to progress your career.

You'll benefit from:

  • Full product and commercial training
  • Genuine progression into Channel Management and wider commercial roles
  • Exposure to international customers and distributors
  • Working alongside Product Management, Marketing and Sales
  • A supportive, collaborative team culture
  • A growing company that promotes from within

Salary & Benefits

  • Performance bonus
  • Company pension
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • 26 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Full product and commercial training
  • Long-term career development opportunities
