About the Role

High-Tech IT is an Information Technology Consultancy and managed services provider specialising in Healthcare IT solutions, launching a new clinical informatics division focused on delivering and supporting Philips Vue PACS solutions for small to mid-sized clinical diagnostic centres across the UK.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Consultant – Radiology Informatics to play a key role in the sales and demo support, configuration, training, and support of PACS solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to bridge clinical expertise with healthcare IT in a growing specialist environment.

Successful candidates will be enrolled in the official Philips certification pathway and receive structured product training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including system demonstrations and clinical workflow discussions
  • Configure and optimise PACS systems from a clinical workflow perspective
  • Deliver end-user training sessions (radiologists, radiographers, administrators)
  • Develop training materials and user guides
  • Provide ongoing clinical support and workflow optimisation
  • Act as a liaison between clinical users and technical teams
  • Travel to customer sites when required

Candidate Profile

Essential

  • Radiology background (Radiographer, Radiology Manager, Reporting Radiographer, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows
  • Interest in healthcare IT and informatics
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe for training purposes

Desirable

  • Experience with Philips Vue PACS (formerly Carestream PACS)
  • Experience supporting or implementing PACS/RIS systems
  • Knowledge of hospital information systems (RIS, HIS, EPR)
  • Exposure to integration workflows (HL7, DICOM beneficial but not mandatory)
