Full job description

Want to represent a premium product range for a global leader in life sciences?

We're looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to take ownership of an established territory across London and the South East. You'll inherit existing accounts, build strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities across pharma, biotech, NHS, academia and research.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone already in scientific sales, or a commercially minded life scientist looking to take the next step into a field-based role.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and growing an established customer base.
  • Developing new business across your territory.
  • Meeting customers face-to-face to understand their laboratory needs.
  • Delivering product demonstrations and commercial presentations.
  • Building long-term partnerships with laboratories and research organisations.
  • Working closely with the wider UK and European commercial teams to achieve ambitious growth plans.

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have:

  • A Life Sciences degree or equivalent scientific background.
  • Experience in scientific sales, laboratory equipment sales or another customer-facing commercial role.
  • The confidence to build relationships with scientists, laboratory managers and procurement teams.
  • A proactive, organised approach and the drive to develop your own territory.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Experience selling into pharmaceutical, biotechnology, NHS, academic or research laboratories would be highly advantageous, but we're also keen to speak with applications specialists or laboratory scientists looking to move into sales.

What's on offer?

  • Competitive salary
  • Uncapped bonus
  • Company car
  • Full product training
  • Career progression within an international organisation
  • The opportunity to represent a respected brand with a strong reputation across the life science industry

If you enjoy meeting customers, building lasting relationships and helping laboratories access innovative solutions, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
