Looking to take your scientific career in a new direction?
Whether you're a recent Life Science graduate or have experience working in a laboratory, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing biotechnology company and build a career on the commercial side of the life sciences industry.
We're looking for someone with a background in molecular biology or the wider life sciences who enjoys working with people, is highly organised and is looking for a varied role supporting customers and the wider commercial team.

About the Company
Our client is a growing biotechnology company developing and manufacturing high-performance PCR and molecular biology reagents used by researchers across academia, biotech, diagnostics and pharmaceutical organisations worldwide.
As the business continues to grow internationally, they're looking for a Commercial Team Administrator to become a key part of their collaborative commercial team based in Oxford.
The Role
This is far more than a traditional administration role.
You'll become the central point of contact supporting customers, distributors and the commercial team, gaining exposure to sales, marketing, product management and commercial operations.
No two days are the same, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term commercial career within life sciences.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer enquiries and processing requests
- Managing and maintaining the CRM system
- Supporting the sales and marketing teams
- Producing reports and commercial documentation
- Coordinating samples, merchandise and logistics
- Supporting commercial projects and day-to-day team operations
- Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments
About You
We're keen to hear from people with:
- A degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or another Life Science subject or laboratory experience within life sciences
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- An interest in customer support and commercial operations
We'd especially like to hear from you if you have:
- PCR or molecular biology experience
- Customer-facing experience (retail, hospitality, laboratory support, customer service, technical support or similar)
- Experience using CRM systems (desirable but not essential)
Full training will be provided.
