Biomedical Scientist
Grade: Band 6
Trust: Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
Ward: Haematology and Blood Transfusion

What you can add:
- Competence and experience in BMS transfer, embedding, microtomy skills, special stains techniques, frozen sections and Immunohistochemistry
- Experience of operating, troubleshooting and maintaining complex laboratory equipment.
- Good understanding of the Speciality required
- Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements within the scope of practice
- Basic IT knowledge
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
- BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences (IBMS approved) or approved alternative science degree plus post graduate certificate in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years post registration laboratory training
- IBMS Specialist Diploma in Speciality
