What you’ll do:
- Support the day-to-day organisation and delivery of the histopathology service, ensuring efficiency and consistency
- Perform independent troubleshooting and investigations to maintain service quality
- Contribute to quality control and assurance processes in line with ISO 15189:2022 and UKAS standards
- Work closely with senior colleagues to maintain workflows, resources, and overall service performance
- Support and mentor junior colleagues and new starters, contributing to training and competency development
What you’ll bring:
- BSc in Biomedical Science
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
- Diploma of Specialist Practice or equivalent
- Proven experience within a histology laboratory
- Strong competency across routine histology techniques
