Full job description

Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced biomedical and diagnostics professional to join a growing life sciences business as a part-time video presenter.

The role will involve appearing on camera to introduce the business, explain its services, and showcase a range of diagnostic products and laboratory supplies. You’ll be responsible for presenting clear, engaging and credible content for social media, with all video editing handled by the wider team.

About you

You’ll need a strong understanding of the diagnostics/laboratory sector, alongside previous commercial or sales experience within diagnostics. You should be comfortable translating technical information into engaging, easy-to-understand content and communicating confidently on camera.

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Demonstrate a solid biomedical or laboratory background
  • Understand diagnostic products and laboratory workflows
  • Have previous experience in diagnostics sales or a similar commercial role
  • Explain technical information clearly and accurately
  • Confidently present products and their benefits to an audience
  • Feel comfortable and professional in front of the camera

The role

  • Approximately 10 hours per week
  • £20–£23 per hour, depending on experience
  • Occasional weekend filming, arranged flexibly around your availability
  • Filming will take place at an appropriate business location

This would suit someone with a biomedical, laboratory, diagnostics or related background who enjoys communication and would like to combine their industry expertise with presenting and content creation.
