The role

London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for three lecturers in Biomedical Science. Two of these posts require subject area expertise in: i) Haematology and Blood Transfusion, and ii) Molecular and Precision Medicine. Please refer to the relevant candidate packs.

For all advertised posts, the role holder will contribute to teaching, assessment, curriculum development, student support, and scholarly activity in the Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Science subject areas, while helping to strengthen research and industry engagement within the Biomedical Science Research Group. The post also offers the opportunity to participate in outreach and collaborative activities with external partners.

About You:

  • A PhD (completed or near completion) relevant to the position applied for.
  • Experience of teaching and supporting student learning in higher education within your chosen specialised field, including the design, delivery, and assessment of inclusive and effective learning activities.
  • Research active with evidence of productivity in the form of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering an inclusive and engaging student experience and committed to continuing professional and scholarly development.
  • Able to work effectively in a high-pressure multidisciplinary academic environment.
