Excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager, Laboratory Manager, Engineering Operations Manager or Technical Services Manager looking to broaden your operational leadership experience whilst playing a key role in shaping the future of engineering education and research.
This is an opportunity to join a leading Higher Education institution during one of the most exciting periods in its history. Significant investment is being made into engineering, with major expansion of research facilities, new teaching programmes and ambitious long-term projects creating genuine opportunities for someone who wants to be part of positive change.

The Role:
- Lead the operational management of engineering laboratories, workshops and technical facilities.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of Technical Managers and Senior Technicians.
- Drive operational excellence, health & safety, budgets and resource planning.
- Support major engineering developments, research expansion and future teaching programmes.

The Person:
- Experience managing technical services, laboratories or engineering operations.
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Knowledge of laboratory compliance, operational governance and health & safety.
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) within engineering, science or a related discipline.
