- Support learners to develop skills in the land-based sector.
- Mentor and coach learners to help them grow into capable, confident professionals.
- Contribute to the development of our expanding apprenticeship programme.
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to promote safe, high-quality training.

- Strong practical experience in the land-based sector.

Job description
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential Professional and Technical experience
- Good knowledge and experience across a range of practical land-based skills.
- A passion for passing on a wide range of land based practical skills.
- Proven track record in planning and managing own timetable of work and the ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Professional and Technical experience
- Knowledge or experience in various training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training and mentoring.
- Ability to track the performance of training programmes, write reports and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating a range of training events across a broad range of topics.
- Good understanding of the training cycle and its relevance to effective training.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- First Aid and appropriate endorsement.
- Willingness to achieve a L3 Training Qualification within 9 months.
Desirable criteria
- Assessor qualification for example D32/ D33 or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
- Level 3 Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent)
- NPTC/Lantra Certificate Safe use of pesticides (PA1)
- NPTC/Lantra Certificate in Brus-hcutter, trimmer & clearing saw
- NPTC/Lantra Certificate in Pesticide application using handheld applicators (PA6a)
- NPTC/Lantra Certificate in Chainsaw maintenance and cross cutting
- NPTC/Lantra Certificate in Felling trees up to 380mm
- NPTC/Lantra Certificate in Felling trees over 380mm

You will be asked to write a 200-word statement on your relevant experience and career history, along with a personal statement of no more than 500 words. Please ensure you detail what practical experience you have. You will be assessed on both during sifting. More details about how to apply are listed on the application form.
You will be assessed on a technical skill and experience-based questions during your interview.
