Full job description

The Role

You will be providing essential support to the accounts and HR department. Contribute to credit control and bookkeeping processes across sales and purchase ledgers and manage basic accounts-related enquiries and forms. Additionally, you will aid in other HR tasks & projects such as employee contracts, organisation of annual leave, and other administrative communications.

A number of progression opportunities are presented from this role, from more specialist and complex accounts work, purchasing or project-based roles if you enjoy the analytical aspect of the role, or if the people-oriented HR work is more befitting then a role in recruitment or sales may follow.

Who will you report to?

Your direct report will be our Accounts & HR Manager, Holly Pritchard. Holly joined Marches Business Group in 2017 as an Accounts Assistant while studying for her AAT Level 2 qualification and has since worked her way through various positions before joining our senior management team. Now involved in management accounts and monthly financial reporting for the wider business group, as well as overseeing everything HR related,Holly has become an integral part of the business and has helped grow her department to a team of five.
