Clubhouse Sports Media, an innovative advertising and marketing business who specialise in sourcing key business advertisements and attracting sponsorships from national companies, are seeking a dynamic Bookkeeper/Credit Controller to contribute to our transactional finance operations.

Essential duties will include:

  • Posting of transactions including inputting sales invoices and processing purchase invoices through Dext automated software
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Managing the sales ledger including; actively pursuing any outstanding payments in a timely manner, following the internal legal escalation process and liaising with external parties to implement debt recovery process
  • Preparing debtors report for internal review
  • Managing the purchase ledger and ensuring timely payments to suppliers
  • Preparing basic payroll information to send to external accountants for submission

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as an accounts assistant or bookkeeper
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel and accounting software programmes including Xero
  • Experience in reconciling accounts
  • Experience in managing and monitoring debtors
  • Strong confident telephone manner
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Confident in presenting figures
  • Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
  • Strong problem solving skills with a proactive approach to tasks
