Job Overview
We are looking for an Experienced Practice Accountant  or highly skilled bookkeeper with accounts prep experience for a growing accountancy and tax advisory firm based in Petersfield.  We are a small,  but perfectly formed team, our emphasis is on providing a high level service for our clients.

Who’s right for this job?

· You are driven to go above and beyond for clients

· You’ll have the ability to prepare Accounts for Limited Companies, LLPs, Partnerships, Sole traders

· You’ll have up to date knowledge of UK gap and small/micro entity company accounts (FRS 102  section 1A and FRS 105)

· You’ll have the ability to prepare corporate tax returns or prep them to a high level for review by a senior accountant

· Ideally, you’ll have up to date knowledge of current tax legislation and company law, personal tax knowledge

· Ideally, you’ll have experience of liaising with and advising clients on tax and accounting matters

Experience

· Previous experience working in a practice environment - essential

· Ideally qualified (ACA, ACCA, ATT, AAT) but would also consider part qualified  OR qualified by experience

· Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent service to clients

· Ability to manage daily workloads unsupervised

· Ability to work to strict deadlines

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

· Strong knowledge of accounting/tax systems – Xero, VT Transactions, Taxfiler and payroll manager

· IT skills  - excel, word, outlook

Approximately 21 hours per week negotiable, can be worked as full days or part days over the course of the week. If you would prefer to be self-employed this could also be discussed.

Remuneration and benefits:  Competitive depending on experience

Location: We are based in Petersfield but happy for you to work remotely depending on the circumstances and requirement of the business.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
