Duties:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Semi-Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of services provided to our clients including preparing statutory accounts, bookkeeping, vat return preparation, auditing and company tax return preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and tax legislation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare limited company financial statements, including balance sheet reconciliations, income statements, and cash flow statements using IRIS software
- Prepare management accounts
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls

-Management of a client portfolio

- Answer basic client queries across a broad range of subjects

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and tax principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Iris, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Kashflow.
- Experience in vat return preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience of 3+ years in a similar role in practice is a must.

-Ability to manage own time and workload

-Inclination to research a range of topics as they arise using tools provided to help directors provide solutions to clients

-Ability to work well both as a team and individually

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
