Full job description

Harper Inns is a small but expanding group of country pubs. We were established in 2014 when we opened our first pub, The King William Inn at Scaftworth. Since then we have opened The Black Lion at Firbeck, The White Horse Inn at Barnby Moor, The Crown Inn at Glentham. 2023 was a year of huge growth for us. We opened 3 additional sites taking us to a total of 7!

*PLEASE NOTE* Due to the rural locations of our venues it is important that you either drive or have a reliable lift as it is unlikely public transport will be frequent enough to be a viable option.

```Duties:```

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues

- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

```Qualifications:```

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

- Proven experience as an Account Administrator or similar role

- Proficient in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
