Full job description
Job Summary (FT preferred, PT considered)
Bookkeeping Duties:
· Reporting to the group financial controller.
· Support the audit requirements
· Support preparation for tax filings and liaise with external accountants.
· Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
· Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
· Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
· Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting.
· Support payroll and employee expense reimbursements (as needed).
Administrative Support:
· Support the sales order process.
· Perform general office duties or non-finance work as required.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a bookkeeper, office assistant, or similar role.
· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, ideally level 3 AAT or strong practice experience.
· Proficiency in accounting software (Ideally Sage)
· Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Benefits:
· Holiday entitlement based on FT. 25 days holiday, plus UK bank holidays , an additional 5 days holiday for year-end closure.
