Full job description
We are looking for a qualified accountant to join our friendly team to lead the VAT and bookkeeping team.
Relevant experience to include:
- Supporting and managing a team, including reviewing work.
- Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Extensive tax knowledge of all areas of personal, corporate taxation and VAT.
- Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues.
- Management accounts.
- Having a portfolio of self-assessment & partnership tax returns to complete each year.
- Knowledge of charities and trusts would be preferable.
- Experience of Iris, Xero, Quick Books, Sage, and Dext.
- Friendly, confident manner and be happy to work as part of a team as well as alone.
The role is full time and is office based.
The candidate must be able to work under time pressure and unsupervised. The successful candidate will require more than eight years relevant working experience.
Salary to be advised, depending on experience.
