We are looking for an Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this key role, you’ll be supporting our clients by ensuring their financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with tax regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly and professional environment, where your contributions will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare VAT returns using various accounting software
- Assist with Personal Tax preparation for clients
- Compile and prepare accounts for submission
- Communicate tax liabilities and other financial information to clients via phone, email, or in-person
- Ensure all deadlines for tax filings and submissions are met
- Work closely with clients, providing excellent service and dealing with queries relating accounts and bookkeeping.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with experience in preparing year end accounts.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Iris, Xero, Excel, Sage preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner
- Ability to work independently
