Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various office software and strong communication skills to manage daily tasks effectively.
Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Manage correspondence through phone calls and emails, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations using Google Suite and other office applications.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Provide support for financial tasks, including invoicing and bookkeeping using Excel.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve office efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Proficient in using computerised systems, particularly Google Suite and QuickBooks.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent clerical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
