Accounting Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a Top 20 accountancy and business advisory firm that prides itself on delivering expert financial guidance to SMEs. With a collaborative network of professionals across the UK and Ireland, the firm is committed to providing tailored solutions while supporting employees' career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring efficient delivery of accounting services.

  • Prepare financial statements and management accounts in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive financial advice.

  • Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting software, particularly Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.

  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing training and support.

  • Identify opportunities for improving clients' financial processes and provide recommendations.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience).

  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff within a practice.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.

  • Understanding of professional regulations and best practices.

  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

  • Adaptable to evolving business requirements.
