Accounting Manager
Location: Wetherby, United Kingdom
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
We are recruiting on behalf of a Top 20 accountancy and business advisory firm that prides itself on delivering expert financial guidance to SMEs. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring efficient delivery of accounting services.
Prepare financial statements and management accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive financial advice.
Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting software, particularly Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing training and support.
Identify opportunities for improving clients' financial processes and provide recommendations.
Key Requirements:
ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience).
Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff within a practice.
Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
Understanding of professional regulations and best practices.
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Adaptable to evolving business requirements.
