Semi Senior Accountant

Location: Offices in Swansea and Pontardulais

Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hrs a week)

Type: Permanent

Salary: £28,000, with potential for negotiation based on experience.

We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our clients friendly team in Swansea and Pontardulais and contribute to their excellent reputation across South Wales and beyond.

About he role:
  • Crafting and reviewing comprehensive annual accounts.
  • Preparing accurate Corporate and Personal Tax Returns.
  • Providing expert bookkeeping services to our valued clients.
  • Managing VAT Returns with precision and efficiency.
  • Supporting our payroll team when needed.
  • Generating essential statutory documents.
  • Contributing to general administrative tasks.
What we need from you-
  • You will have at least two-three years experience working in an accountancy practice- essential
  • You will be working towards ACCA qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach.
  • A strong understanding of VAT, Corporate, and Personal taxes.
  • The ability to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with cloud based software like Xero, QuickBooks or Sage is a plus!
