About the role of Bookkeeper:

  • Accurate data entry - understanding VAT across different industries
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts & credit cards, including Shopify, PayPal & Amazon Seller accounts
  • Dealing with payroll, pensions & month end journals
  • Producing management accounts where required
  • Balance sheet, Profit & Loss and Trial Balance analysis
  • The balancing of intercompany loans
  • Credit control
  • Processing of CIS & submitting CIS returns
  • Dealing with client queries by email and telephone
  • On going support and consultancy with clients
  • Excellent proficiency in Xero – essential
  • Use of other bookkeeping software is an advantage

Internal systems training will be given where required, however you must have a solid bookkeeping foundation as this is not a junior level role.

This role is perfect for someone who is able to manage their time well and re-prioritise daily. It is a challenging role, but is also a very rewarding.
