Jetvent is expanding its operations and would like to welcome experienced persons to be part of our team and part of an expanding business future.

Job Title: Grease and Air Hygiene Supervisor

Salary: Starting from £14 - £20 per hour.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, including some weekend working and overtime as required.

There may be a requirement for travel within the UK and Ireland.

Main Duties

  • To clean all form of ductwork systems. Removal of extractor fans, cutting access panels. To take before and after grease readings, PVT samples, photographs, completing all necessary reports using an android App based system, all training provided.
  • Carrying out post clean checks to make sure everything has been completed to the required standard and that the site is clean and tidy before leaving.
  • Communicating with office via email, stock ordering, using mobile app for time sheets and daily checks. Customer liaison, speaking with client representatives to book into site and gain access to work areas.

Job outline

  • To complete all works to required quality standards.
  • Ensure jobs are accurately recorded on company system.
  • Oversee site accessibility and safe working (for all employees and client’s personnel) including reviewing risk assessments, sign off sheets and method statements.
  • Ensure all employees under supervision have the correct uniform and PPE.
  • Train, coach & mentor trainee/less experienced members of the team.
  • Manage teams to operate within the companies operational standards and lead by example to re-enforce respectful working within client’s premises.

Essential

  • UK valid Driving License
  • Organised and methodical.
  • Ability to follow instruction and work off own initiative.
  • Can problem solve, and Strong work ethic.
  • Staff will have to undergo a Full access NI.
  • Drive and enthusiasm to establish good working relationships within the team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in enclosed spaces and at height.
  • Flexibility on hours and the ability to work away from home.

Desirable

  • Previous experience of cleaning ductwork ventilation systems.
  • Experience using mobile apps.
  • BESA AHT/GHT qualification (preferred)
  • NVQ qualification (preferred)
  • Experience with working at height and in confined spaces
  • First aid training.
  • CSR
  • Health and Safety training.

Experience

  • HVAC: 3 years (required)
  • Fire damper: 3 years (preferred)
  • AHU: 3 years (preferred)
